PROCESS :
- Preparation for Use – The device may be put in any standard workroom. The sealing unit hpl ISZ is only designed for use in normal and dry environments.
- Insert the power supply’s main connecting connector into the socket (pay attention to the voltage indicated on the machine type plate).
- Connector in the special plug to connect the sealing tong to the socket power supply unit.
- Turn the “Welding Time” control knob on the power supply unit.
- Turn on the power supply unit by pushing the tumbler.
- Adjust the sealing time by adjusting the “Welding Time” control knob to the right.
- The sealing power may only be adjusted in steps from 0 to 10. It is dependent on the type of film to be sealed as well as the thickness of the film, thus trial sealing is required (it is recommended a temperature setting of no higher than 5 for polyethylene bags).
- Insert material between the sealing beams and manually shut the tong.
- To assist achieve an effective seal, ensure that the material is smooth and free of irregularities before beginning the sealing process. Keep the material taught between the sealing beams before closing the tongs.
- The sealer impulse is released as soon as the sealing beams are closed, and the sealing procedure is carried out according to the adjusted time value. A click sound in the gadget indicates the sealing time.
- After the click sounds to release the material from the tongs, leave the tongs closed for another 2-5 seconds to allow re-cooling and retain the steam’s stability.
Note: If you let go of the tongs too fast, the polyethylene bag will melt and split, leaving scorched plastic on the element. Turn off the machine and wait 5 minutes before touching it. Then, using your finger, carefully peel the plastic off the heating element.
- Remove the film using the tongs.
- Examine the seal’s quality:
- If the seal is too weak, the seam can be quickly opened – the welding duration is too short.
- If the seal is too strong, the seam will be burnt and the welding time will be too lengthy; do not use it.
- After performing the welding process, turn off the power supply unit by pressing the tumbler switch.
WARNINGS :
The machines are only meant for use in dry environments and must be kept dry. Keep machinery free from dust, steam, and splashed water, as these might cause them to malfunction. Hard items should not be placed between the sealing beams because they may harm the heating ribbon as well as the PTFE glass tissue; the density of the sealing seam in this location cannot be guaranteed.
MAINTENANCE:
- Thoroughly clean and test for safety.
- Every three months, lubricating oil should be applied to the operating lever’s retaining support. For gadget maintenance (which should be done once a year).
- Unplug the gadget from the power source.
- Replace deteriorating components on the gadget with HAWO parts. PTFE ribbon, heated ribbon, and silicone rubber replacement:
- Remove the welding beam and the stamp.
- Remove the faulty PTFE ribbon.
- Remove the heating ribbon by loosening the M4 x 6 screws at both ends of the welding beam.
- If required, replace the silicone rubber.
- Replace the heating ribbon. The heating ribbon must have two ends. The ram’s body is seen towards the end.
- M4x6 screws are used to secure the heating ribbon.
- If employing meter storage, cut new PTFE ribbon to size, remove the protective layer, and glue the self-adhesive PTFE ribbon onto the welding ram.
- Remount the welding ram, paying close attention to parallelism.
- Connect the cord to the wall.
